Baggie Boy James is added to Hangar bill
CROWD favourite James “Baggie Boy” Griffiths has been added to the already stacked “March Madness” show at Wolverhampton’s Hangar Venue, which will now take place on Saturday March 8.
The BCB Promotions bill was originally scheduled for the day before, writes PAUL WEBB.
Middleweight Griffiths is unbeaten in seven contests and will box for the first time this year at the same venue where he fought last time. At the Hangar in October, the 29-year-old gained a convincing points win over Paul Cummings.
Light heavyweight Jack Wyn Roberts, from Abergale, North Wales, but now boxing out of Rocester, has also been included on the show. The 28-year-old, trained by former Midlands champion Andy Keates, will be making his first appearance on a BCB promotion.
The pair join a fantastic line-up which features Wolverhampton Boxing Club duo Ollie Cooper (9-0) and Gully Powar (11-0), Bloxwich's Ryan Woolridge (11-0), Brandon Bethell (4-1), Mia Holland (1-0) and Jack Finlan (1-0).
Further updates to the card to follow in the coming days.
Tickets are available now, priced £45 standard and £80 VIP ringside, from the boxers directly or by emailing info@bcb-promotions.com.
