Amateur champ Mia joins the BCB team

Mia Holland...makes her debut at Bescot Stadium in November

BCB Promotions is rapidly establishing itself as the premier force in women’s pro boxing.

And it has strengthened its female stable by signing Mia Holland who makes her debut at the Bescot Stadium, Walsall, on November 16, writes PAUL WEBB.
The 20-year-old amateur standout from Wolverhampton was a four times national champion, Tri-Nations champion, and Boxcup medallist.
Mia said: "I enjoyed my amateur career and I’m really looking forward to my professional journey. I’m also really excited about making my debut in November and being part of the BCB team."
Holland will box at flyweight (8st) and will be coached by experienced trainer Richie Ghent from R G Boxfit in Bilston.
"I've been very pleased with the way she has adapted to the professional side of boxing,” said Ghent. “She was a very good amateur, and I believe she will continue her success into the professional ranks.  There is no rush for Mia, as she's only young, and with the right team around her, I believe she will have a good career in the sport."
*Full details of the rest of the card for the Bescot Stadium show will be announced shortly.
